Ingredient Information
Vitamin A (Palmitate) 3,000 mcg RAE/10,000 IU.
Excipients: Soybean Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin.
Drug Interactions: Isotretinoin or other acne drugs can increase blood levels of Vitamin A.
Nutrient Depletions: Alcohol, coffee, cortisone, mineral oil, nitrates, and HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibitors (used to lower elevated cholesterol levels) may deplete the body’s stores of Vitamin A.
Supportive Interactions: Vitamin E and zinc help the body use Vitamin A. Vitamin A helps enhance the absorption of iron in food, and may be beneficial for those on immunosuppressant medications.
