Jamieson Trees

Jamieson Forest

Trees are a symbol of hope and renewal and a beloved icon of the Canadian landscape. Jamieson Laboratories has made a 10-year commitment to naturalize an historic landscape in partnership with the Essex Regional Conservation Area. This project will revitalize a 121-acre former Carolinian forest along the shore of Lake Erie with more than 72,000 seedlings. The initiative offsets approximately 10 years of wood-fibre consumption in all aspects of Jamieson business. The area will be named the Jamieson Forest.

Making Canada Greener!

On Friday, April 16, 2010 Jamieson launched the first installment of its community-action initiative known as Making Canada Greener!. Each year during the period from  Earth Day (April 22) to World Environment Day (June 2), this national, public-engagement tree-planting initiative aims to put thousands of new trees in the ground in time for Canada’s Environment Week in June. Jamieson will match the effort of all Canadians by planting an equal number of trees at conservation areas across the country.
