Natural Source Formulations
Jamieson is one of only a few nutritional supplement companies worldwide that conducts all of its own research, manufacturing, packaging and distribution, ensuring consistent delivery of the Jamieson product. We guarantee "true-to-label" claims because we purchase and assay all of our own raw materials and manufacture our own product. It is a strict Jamieson policy to order and inventory only small batches of raw material ingredients and finished goods to ensure freshness.
At Jamieson, we endeavor to secure the highest quality ingredients from our network of suppliers that spans the globe - from Saskatchewan borage fields to Australian phyto-marine sea farms to South American rainforests.

Research and Development
Jamieson products are unique formulations created, compounded and quality assured in our own research and development pharmaceutical laboratories in Canada.
Experienced professional chemists, biochemists, microbiologists, phyto-scientists and nutritionists work in the research and development of every Jamieson product. Jamieson currently employs 350 people, of which one in every five is involved in a research, development or quality control process.
Quality Control
Jamieson products have established a worldwide standard of pharmaceutical purity, potency and manufacturing integrity.
We are proud to be the first Good Manufacturing Processes protocol facility in our category in Canada. GMP are government-regulated guidelines covering all activities relating to fabricating, packaging/labeling, testing, distributing, importing and wholesaling of drugs for human or veterinary use.
In addition, all Jamieson products undergo more than 200 in-house pharmaceutical scientific controls, calibrated bioassays and clinical protocols under the PharmaSure 211 Biotechnology™ process. This strict level of assurance guarantees consistent active potency, proven nutritional bio-availability and freshness in each capsule.
Jamieson Quality Control verifies that all physical parameters and tablet integrity meet or exceed Health Canada, United States Pharmacopea (U.S.P.), National formulary (N.F.) or European Botanical Medicine Pharmacopea standards before being released.

Manufacturing
Jamieson’s state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratories, located in Windsor, Ontario, are the standard upon which other facilities in Canada are judged.
Our commitment to quality manufacturing practices meet and exceed the strict standard established by the Health Protection Branch of Canada and the United States Food and Drug Administration.
Nutrients are delicate and susceptible to damage from heat and excess moisture. To ensure potency and quality claims, Jamieson’s laboratories are climate-controlled, clinically pure operations, where formulations are created and product is filled in small batches. Ingredients are milled to correct particle size, dry-blended in high capacity purity blenders and tableted by means of a special technological process called "dry compression." This eliminates the need for alcohol, other solvents and high temperatures over prolonged periods. This is important, because our dry compression tableters will not chemically alter the actives used, or de-nature any of the hundreds of natural source nutrients found in Jamieson formulas.
Careful environmental controls reduce the possibility of cross-contamination in each tableting area.
We use a special aqueous coating of purified water and vegetable cellulose that enhances product life, prevents oxidation and allows for easy to swallow tablets.
Throughout the manufacturing process each formulation is submitted to our quality control labs, where it is analyzed and approved for the presence of active ingredients and the absence of contaminants.
As soon as manufacturing and packaging is complete, our products are shipped to centralized distribution centers, from where they are immediately forwarded to wholesalers and retailers.
