Jamieson Laboratories was founded in 1922 by Claire Edwin Jamieson, a Scottish immigrant. Mr. Jamieson established manufacturing operations in Windsor, Ontario, in 1928. A pharmacist by profession, Mr. Jamieson was a graduate of the Ontario College of Pharmacy in 1902. He began his career at a large, Detroit-based pharmaceutical company before striking out on his own. Jamieson has grown to become a world leader in the vitamin and nutrition industry, exporting to more than 50 countries around the globe, including the United States, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and Singapore. To this day, Jamieson Laboratories remains a privately-held, Canadian company - Canada's only full-line manufacturer of natural vitamins, minerals, concentrated food supplements, herbs and botanical medicines.
