Ester-C® is at least four times more bioavailable than conventional vitamin C (ascorbic acid), and twice as bioavailable as mineral ascorbates. It may also have an important role to play in increasing the amount of vitamin C actually used by cells. This product is formulated especially for children who have difficulty tolerating vitamin C in its ascorbic acid form. Ester-C® is a "tooth-friendly" formula with a neutral pH that will not harm children's tooth enamel as most other chewable vitamin C products do.
