Your Glucosamine, Chondroitin, MSM product information lists sulphate. I am allergic to sulpha (orally) and experience a high fever and hives. Is it safe to take something with sulphate?
Sulfonamides or sulfa drugs (containing the ingredient sulfamethoxazole) are synthetic antimicrobial agents and should not be confused with sulfur, sulfites and sulfates, which are generally not closely related to sulfamethoxazole and are unlikely to cause adverse effects in people with a sulfa allergy (http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/sulfa-allergy/AN01565).
You may safely take our glucosamine sulfate products as these will not contain the antibiotic sulfamethoxazole.
