Dr Aronne is the Sanford I. Weill Professor of Metabolic Research at Weill Cornell Medical College where he directs the Comprehensive Weight Control Center, a state of the art multidisciplinary obesity research and treatment program. He has been on the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine since 1986.

Dr. Jäger is a globally recognized inventor of functional foods and dietary supplements, and is a certified sports nutritionist (CISSN) and Fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (FISSN).

Dr. Ragupathy Subramanyam

Dr. Ragupathy is currently a Research Associate at the University of Guelph and the Managing Director of the QAID Institute (Quality Assurance ID) in Guelph, Ontario. The QAID Institute has developed proprietary DNA microarray-based identification tools for Botanicals, Microbes (early detection of food spoilage and mitigation strategies) and Meat ID (Plant vs Animal). These tools are available to industry and researchers. His research has impacted policy on biodiversity and international trade of herbal products, including product authentication and certification standards within the food and natural product industry within Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia. Through this research he co-developed commercial DNA probes and lab SOPs for new industry standards in natural ingredient identification and authentication.

Dr. Ragupathy has authored over 90 publications including books and journal papers on genomic diversity and molecular diagnostic tools for plant identification. He has discovered and described several new plant species (in India and China), and plant-based medicine. Dr. Ragupathy attained his PhD in botany and genetics from University of Madras (1992), followed by a post doctorate in ethnobotany genomics at Central Queensland University (1998) and University of Guelph (2003-2006). Dr. Ragupathy was an Adjunct Professor, College of Biological Sciences, Curator of the Biodiversity Institute of Ontario's BIO Herbarium and Co-Director of NHP Research Alliance at the University of Guelph (2007-2025).
