Prenatal & Infant
Nothing is more important than bringing a healthy child into the world. Paying close attention to your diet and taking supplements with key nutrients such as folate, vitamin D, and iron, from preconception through breastfeeding, can help protect and support your health and the health of baby. These key nutrients are critical during all stages of pregnancy and birth to ensure healthy growth, cognitive development and a strong immune system. Health Canada recommends that infants in Canada receive a daily vitamin D supplement. During infancy, probiotics are also essential to help reduce colic and strengthen the digestive system. Talk to your healthcare practitioner for the supplements you and your baby need for optimal health.
