Jamieson Laboratories invites Canadian conservation groups to answer their Call For The Wild!

Jan 16, 2013

Toronto, Ontario (January 16, 2013) — Jamieson Laboratories is now accepting nominations from community groups in this year’s Call for the Wild!

Jamieson Laboratories’ community-investment program, Call for the Wild! grants a total of $100,000 each year to registered non-profit organizations involved in the protection of Canada’s wildlife and wilderness. The program goals are threefold: to protect habitats and the endangered species that call them home; to conserve ecologically significant land; and to protect and rehabilitate wildlife.

Five organizations that best meet these objectives will be selected to participate in a social media-based public-voting campaign later this year. Jamieson Laboratories will award a donation to each organization based on the percentage of total votes received during the voting period.

“A healthy planet is the foundation for wellness,” says Vic Neufeld, President and CEO of Jamieson Laboratories. “In communities across the country, grassroots groups are doing inspired environmental and wildlife work. The enthusiastic voting shows that these causes are close to the hearts of all Canadians. We’re thrilled to help generate a greater understanding and support for these vital groups within their communities.”

February 28, 2013 is the deadline for nominations. Visit jamiesonvitamins.com/cftwnominations for program information or to nominate the organization of your choice.
