Reviews

New formulation - VERY DISAPPOINTED

"The new formulation is awful. It is watery and not anywhere near as good as the old formulation. It isn’t a cream at all anymore. I have been using the Vitamin E cream for years and have recommended it to many people who also use it. We are all so disappointed with the new formulation and will have to shop elsewhere now. We all want to shop Canadian but this just isn’t worth it."

So Sticky It Left Sweater Fuzz Clinging To My Neck

"It was the first cool night of the season last night so I put a sweater on while outside with friends. I woke up this morning and my husband told me I had a black ring around my neck. I couldn't figure out what it was until I looked closer in the mirror. It was black sweater fuzz that clung to my neck because this cream is so sticky. It does not absorb into skin and feels like a mask on my face. I RELY on this cream all year round but especially during dry winter months. The old formula was the absolute perfect last step after applying my serums. I mean, why change it now? I have read so many reviews from women stating that they have used this cream for decades. Why change it now? PLEASE bring back the old formula."

Not the same as before

"We either got a bad batch or the formula has changed because now I’m experiencing break-outs and it doesn’t blend into the skin like it used to - very watery. We used this cream for years and had no issues, very disappointing"

WHY?! NOW I HAVE TO FIND A NEW CREAM

"I relied on the old formula because it was the Only cream that could combat the side effect dryness from using prescription tretinoin, especially during the dry winter months. This formula is NOTHING like the old one and certainly not "improved". It's runny and not as rich. It's August and I already notice that it's not moisturizing enough. Just wait until the heat comes on in the house. Why can't companies just leave well enough alone?? I"ve been using it for years and now I have to find a new cream and I just bought 2 jars of it. For nothing. Just great!"

New formula is horrible

"I loved the old formula and had been using it daily for many years. I was extremely disappointed when I bought my most recent jar with the new formula. I miss the creamy texture, this one is thin and almost sticky and leaves a very unpleasant scent. I’ll be looking for a new cream to use and will not purchase this again."

Sylvie M. (1/5)

New formula is awful :(

"I’ve been using this for over a decade and have recommended it to so many people, it was the absolute best moisturizer. I’m so sad they changed the formula because the new version is honestly awful. So thin and not moisturizing and kind of sticky. Really bad decision on Jamieson’s part. Please change it back!!"

What happen to the formula?

"I’m very disappointed with the new formula. It use to be the best cream, the rich texture, the delicate perfume. Now it just a liquid cream, it doesn’t feel the same on the skin, I will definitely not buy it anymore."

new formula

"Have used cream for 25 years the new stuff is terrible. PLEASE go back to old formula I miss it ."

"I like it better than the former one as it's not as thick."

Change in vit e day cream

"I have used vitamin e deep nourishing day cream for 25 years, day and night. I have lived in and out 0f Canada and always got this cream. Today I finished one and opened a new one. The new one was like soup, the thickness is gone. I put it on my skin and my skin reacted and felt awful. I check the container. The ingredients have changed. My face feels terrible. Vit. e no longer the 2nd ingredient. This cream is cheap feeling and I wash it off. I am in shock. I have tried other products from around the world, I have tried much more expensive products. I have gotten many, many compliments on my skin over the years and now my product is gone. This product is nothing special. It does not feel good. Vit E is no longer 2nd on ingredients. So for the first time in 25 years I have to explore other products. I will not buy this again. I am saying good bye after 25 years to my favorite product."

I was using Jason Vitamin E cream (25000 IU, 113g), but am no longer able to find it in stores. I purchased a jar of your vitamin e cream, and so far, I really like it, but can't seem to find data on the vitamin e concentration. Can you please advise? Thank you!
