Get ready to have a "berry" good time with these Berry Crumble Bars! Here’s what makes them  healthy, delicious, and satisfying:

  • The base is made of rolled oats and almond flour. Oats have fibre, including beta-glucans which, research shows, can help lower cholesterol and manage blood sugar levels. In addition, almond flour is a great non-traditional, gluten-free option and packs a punch of protein. Each bar provides 8.5 grams of protein!
  • Of course, the berries: Loaded with antioxidants that support optimal health while being a potent source of vitamin C, these berries are the perfect blood sugar regulating and immune boosting fruit.

Enjoy these bars with your morning coffee, or as a dessert!

Here’s how to make them:


Crumble base and topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


Berry filling:

  • 3 cups mixed berries, frozen
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  1. Add all of the crumble ingredients to a large bowl and mix until combined. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the berry ingredients.
  3. In a parchment-lined baking dish, press half of the crumble mixture into an even layer. Add the berry mixture on top. Sprinkle the rest of the crumble mixture on top.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes and enjoy.
