DIfficult to swallow
"Tried taking this product a couple of weeks ago largely based on the claim on the packaging that it "easy to swallow". The coating dissolves very quickly making it difficult to swallow. I have taken tablets before but with superior coatings. If you have any difficulty with tablets , this is NOT for you. Will not buy this product again."

- Hi, Does Mega Cal contains calcium carbonate from oyster shells? I'm on a low iodine diet and must avoid seafood and sea products. Thank you!

Each Jamieson product is manufactured according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as certified by Health Canada. GMP protocols are government-regulated guidelines for all activities related to fabricating, testing, packaging, labelling, distributing, importing, and wholesaling drugs and natural-health products for human or veterinary use. GMP procedures include strict protocols for cleaning of equipment between products to eliminate the possibility of contamination. Therefore, depending on the severity of your allergy or diet, it may be important to note that we are not an allergen free facility.
- The directions on my bottle and here say take 1 - 2 mini-tab TM caplets daily but these are mega cal TM tablets not caplets. Is the dose the same?
